SAMP server settings

Setup a samp server really easy you just have to follow these steps

1. Goto http://www.sa-mp.com/ and click on the 'Downloads' in the navigation bar at left side. You will find windows server and linux server, if you using windows download samp server for windows.

2. After downloading samp03asvr_R4_win32.zip file extract it in a folder using winrar.

3. Open the folder and open server.cfg file and edit it as follow

change lanmode from 0 to 1

change rcon password by changing changeme to whatever you like

maxplayers type here the maximum number of players that can play in your server

let the port be same to 7777

hostname type you host name whatever you like

gamemode don't change it untill you have gamemode files in ur server's gamemode folder or you can download gamemodes from here

filterscript same as gamemodes click here

announce change it from 0 to 1 if you want your server to be shown on samp server list

leave the rest same and run the samp-server.exe file

What is SA:MP?
San Andreas Multiplayer (SA:MP) is a modification for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which turns it into a multiplayer game. You can play over the internet (or LAN) with up to 500 other people. You need the original Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas PC game to play San Andreas Multiplayer.

In SA:MP you are able to do almost anything that you can do in single player GTA. SA:MP also features the ability to create your own scripted game modes. There are many game modes that feature a series of different and fun things to do. Many of which are not possible in single player.

System Requirements
SA:MP will run on any computer that will run San Andreas single player, but give better performance in most cases. However, if you are playing on larger servers(SA-MP Supports up to 500 slots), the game may run slower at times if you have a lower spec.
